New Al Jazeera East Africa correspondent
Fahmida Miller has been appointed as one of Al Jazeera's East Africa correspondents, based in Nairobi.

Miller joined Al Jazeera in 2015, originally working out of the network’s Johannesburg bureau. She’s covered major stories across Africa, from the Libyan revolution to death of Nelson Mandela, but is equally at home presenting current affairs and lifestyles programmes.
She’s interviewed the likes of Rwandan president Paul Kagame and former South African president Thabo Mbeki, and covered stories like the student protests in South Africa and the ongoing drought in the region.
Miller previously worked at CCTV Africa, eNCA, SABC, and Kaya FM.
