Cameroon to get new low-cost mobile operator
Reports on BizTech Africa and TeleGeography state that, according to the newspaper La Nouvelle Expression, a new low-cost operator is set to enter Cameroon early in 2014.

The new operator, Altylis Seme Telecom, to be launched by Cameroonian businessman Seme Noungon, has received funding from the Afriland First Bank and approximately XAF5 billion (USD10.4 million) has been invested into it.
