Vietnam, Mozambique seek closer ties
A delegation of Mozambican government officials, including Prime Minister Aires Ali and Deputy Finance Minister Pedro Couto, recently visited Vietnam with the intention to see ties between the two countries strengthened, Aim News has reported.
Aires encouraged Vietnam businesses to consider investing in Mozambique, promising that Mozambique would create the best possible conditions for Vietnamese businesses to do business in Mozambique.
Meanwhile, Pedro Couto and his Vietnamese counterpart, Dohoang Anh Tuan, on Friday signed a tax agreement that will prevent international double taxation between the two countries.
