MTN and Multichoice partner in Uganda
The new partnership was launched together with Patricia Kiconco, from MultiChoice and Susan Kayemba, MTN Digital manager, at MultiChoice headquarters in Kololo, Uganda.
DStv customers can also subscribe to MTN with special internet data bundles at a lower rate which will enable them to use the app. The service is only available to subscribers of any packages offered by DStv. For instance, two hours of unlimited data will cost $1.50 (Shs 6,000) while four hours will go for $3.25 (Shs 12,000).
“The partnership with MTN is indeed a game changer that will ease the way our customers use the app,” said Kiconco.
“The partnership with DStv is also a milestone because it will offer customers unlimited data to watch their favourite shows, as well as the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations matches without any worries,” Kayemba added.
