Uganda latest addition to Google's Android movie app
Google has added Uganda to its Android movie application, allowing Ugandans to rent or buy movies from a wide selection.
"We are excited to bring Google Play to more countries around the world. Here's where you can find paid apps and digital content on Google Play today. Get your favourite entertainment on Google Play. Find your favourite entertainment on Google Play and enjoy it anytime, anywhere," said Google.
Uganda was added alongside Belgium, the Philippines and Switzerland.
Other African countries that use the service include Botswana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
