Clio RS Gordini coming to SA
The 1000th Clio RS Gordini has rolled off the assembly line at Renault's Alpine plant in Dieppe and the good news is that Renault South Africa has confirmed that the car is coming to South Africa.
The new Clio Renault Sport Gordini will take its place alongside sibling, the Twingo RS Gordini, which took South Africa by storm following its local debut in October 2010.
One of the hottest hatches on the road today, Clio RS Gordini is sure to thrill and delight motor sport enthusiasts and the general driving public alike.
It is due to launch at the Renault Knysna Hill Climb event which takes on 21 and 22 May.
Gordini's proud motorsport heritage dates back to the 1950s and is one of the most legendary names in motorsport.
A spokesperson for Renault SA said the Clio Renault Sport Gordini's arrival was sure to raise the bar and further broaden the appeal of Renault Sport in this country.
