Clear View 3.0 discusses the air cargo industry

The third edition of the Air Cargo Thought Leadership Summit by Kale Logistics Solutions - Clear View 2018 - was held at the end of November 2018 in Thailand. Clear View is a pioneering interactive platform of 25-30 CXOs which, in the last two years, has had encouraging participation from IATA, TIACA, Alibaba, Dnata, Saudi Arabian Airlines, CSC, TIFFA, CargoWorks, leading Airlines, Cargo Handlers, Industry Associations, Regulators and Prominent Industry Consultants from North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Each year, the summit provides stakeholders to discuss industry issues in a roundtable format and this year the sessions revolved around: Air cargo handling infrastructure; regulatory and industry initiatives, e-commerce and air cargo handling and new markets and new horizons for air cargo.

Clear View debuted in February 2016 in Dubai. Last year, the second edition of this event in Greece, received an overwhelming response from industry leaders. Building on the success of the last two editions, the third edition in Bangkok had participation from very senior industry stalwarts.

The Clear View summit endeavours to ensure that a collective voice of the industry gets collated and the industry itself can assemble a charter for enabling possible realistic strategies and viable solutions to the challenges faced by the air cargo industry. Task groups are voluntarily formed by the delegates to work towards issues identified during the round-table discussion post the event.

Commenting on the occasion, Vineet Malhotra, director of Kale Logistics Solutions said, “This year too, as always, the Clear View 3.0 Summit unravelled various issues and challenges facing the air cargo industry and was the apt space for coming up with solutions to address them. We were quite privileged to have some reputed industry stalwarts speak at and participate in these discussions and bring home the repository of knowledge gained at the summit. We are very proud of having put together such an illustrious gathering and hope to continue to have such encouraging response in the years to come as well.”

From the line-up of company representatives that are attending the summit, it seems like there are a lot of very balances perspectives that will be contributing during this time of discussion. I can't wait to see how the logistics and storage of the airline cargo industry may change as a result of the things that they're going to be talking about!
