Are you using the best insurance company in SA?

In terms of getting the best price, that's easy: you just get a few online car insurance quotes, compare them, and then choose the best one. However, finding the company that will give you the best service, now that's much harder.

In fact, so hard, that until recently it was nearly impossible, but thanks to recent research conducted by Carinfo.co.za, you can now enjoy that answer as well.

Published in December, 2013, the research titled: "Are You Using the Best Insurance Company?" attempts to determine which insurance companies in South Africa offer the best customer service. The research reviewed customer reports filed on the hellopeter.com website for 22 different insurance companies.

After analyzing the customer reports, and by using a point system, the researchers identified several companies that ranked the "best" and divided them into two groups: bigger and smaller insurance companies (size was based on the number of overall reports filed and not on each company's market share).
