AutoTrader has launched Car Alerts which allows consumers to complete a pre-set search form; input their car preferences and get notifications on cars matching their criteria sent directly to their inboxes.

While this service may not be first to market, AutoTrader is said to have the largest inventory of vehicles to choose from in South Africa, with over 6,000 added every day.
