Total South Africa recognises southern African dealers
Split into Elite Awards (88 winners) and Top Service Awards (43 winners), three floating trophies were also awarded: the Achiever Award for the dealer that had accumulated the most points on the Elite Fuel Ladder (Jabulani Garage in Madadeni, KZN); the Performance Award for the site with the highest output per fuel nozzle (S A Democracy Motors in Badplass, Mpumalanga); and the Overall Performance Award (Total Fuel Centre in Umtata, Eastern Cape).
In the Elite Awards category - which focuses on fuel, lubricant and forecourt shop sales - fuel awards were presented to: 40 service stations and 10 mainline service stations; 20 awards were presented to Bonjour and La Boutique shops at service stations; five awards were presented to Bonjour and La Boutique shops at mainline service stations; and 10 awards were presented for lubricant sales.
Top Service Awards
In the Top Service Awards category, 29 forecourt awards were presented to South African service stations - 25 Silver awards, three Gold awards and one Bronze award. The Platinum award for the Best Forecourt Team went to Total Atlasville.
Four awards were presented to service stations in Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland, comprising three Silver awards and one Gold award.
In addition, 10 Bonjour and La Boutique shop winners were presented with awards (one Gold and nine Silver) based on mystery shopper evaluations and audits.
