NEWSWATCH: The department of energy has announced that the price of petrol will increase by 67 cents to R13.72 per litre as of tomorrow, Wednesday, 6 September 2017.

Petrol price to increase by 67c/l

The wholesale price of diesel, both 0.05% sulphur and 0.005% sulphur, will increase by 44 cents a litre.

The price hikes are reportedly due to the rand depreciating and the average international product prices of petrol, diesel, and illuminating paraffin increasing at the same time.
