Africanews viewership grows to 1.2 million with addition of Senegal
Available in 38 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and already broadcast in Senegal on Canal+ offer, Africanews is stepping up its presence in the land of Teranga, thanks to the partnership with the new media outlet L'Obs TV, a Futurs Médias Group entity, created by Youssou N'DOUR.
Launched in January 2018, L'Obs TV includes Africanews in French in its programming, every day from 9 am to 11 am WAT.
With this new partnership, Africanews is increasing its audience in Senegal.This initiative enables Africanews, the leading pan-African and multilingual news channel, to strengthen its editorial position and thereby secure the loyalty of a wider audience. Africanews viewership has grown to 1.2 million additional people in Senegal.
Less than two years after its launch, Africanews is already available in 38 countries and 11.7 million homes in sub-Saharan Africa. This growth is driven by Africanews availability on the leading pay-TV platforms on the continent, including Canal+ Africa, Startimes, Azam TV and more recently Kwesé TV.
