[Photos from the ed-at-large] Sandton City's Walnut Grove turns over a new leaf
The well-loved, family-owned Walnut Grove in Sandton City has relaunched with new décor, menu and branding. Opened in 1975 by Yianni Drakopoulos, the tradition continues with daughter Elle Ruschioni and son Fotis Drakopoulos and their spouses taking over the running. A media and VIP launch was held on Monday, 16 July 2012, at which guests were treated to samplings off the new menu, entertainment and a taste of the new ambience.
