World Cup Kick Off Party
On Wednesday 21st June, Kick Off soccer magazine hosted a World Cup party which was held at Vacca Matta at Montecasino for the Holland vs Argentina match. The party resulted in more of a success than the game (which turned out to be a 0-0 draw), as various soccer stars and other celebrities joined in the celebrations. Kick Off editorial director Richard Maguire presented an "on the couch session" with Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Andre Arendse before the match.
