Pick 'n Pay OFM Classic 2008 launches with cycling challenge
The annual Pick n Pay OFM Classic was launched with a cycle challenge for charity at the Supersport Gym, Bloemfontein.
Guests at the launch consisted of organisers, suppliers and sponsors of the race. Every year the organisers present something different with the launch of the Pick n Pay OFM Classic. This year, they decided to cycle for charity.
Suppliers and sponsors made up teams of four each and cycled against time in a round robin format. For every kilometer cycled in the two 15 minute rounds, the organisers of the Classic donated R5 to charity.
The Pick n Pay OFM Classic takes place on Sunday, 2 November 2008 and entries can be done on-line at www.cyclelab.com.
