    One Young World launches

One Young World, a global leadership summit for young leaders age 25 and under, united from all the world's 192 countries to address major global challenges, will be held in London from 8-10 February 2010.

This global conference, simultaneously live in London and over social media worldwide, will gather young people so that they can voice their opinions and create and enact resolutions on a host of issues, including climate change, politics and human rights.

Key guests Kofi Annan, Bob Geldof, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, John Kerry, Oscar Morales, the Prince of Norway, the Mayor of London and the worldwide press are among the more than 600 delegates expected from over 100 countries. The summit begins with a dedicated plenary session on ‘The Changing Power of The Media/New media.'

David Jones, global CEO of communications network Havas Worldwide and a Young Global Leader attending the WEF annual meeting in Davos and Kate Robertson, chair of Euro RSCG Worldwide in the UK and advocate of using business and creativity to influence change, have launched the summit. Jones is a passionate believer in the power of youth to bring change to many of the issues facing our planet.
