Keeping it cultural

If last weekend was all about design and art, this weekend is all about music and theatre. The ever-growing Music Exchange conference returns to Cape Town this Friday and Saturday for the fourth time, and this year boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including the talented Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def! Both the Zabalaza Theatre Festival at the Baxter and the 10th birthday festival for the Kalk Bay Theatre also kick off this and next week.

In other music and theatre news, multi-Grammy-nominated artist Tamia has been announced to be performing in Joburg, Cape Town and PE in April. Eugene Yiga interviews Bianca le Grange about her role in Fugard production; Blood Brothers, and Jordan Scott interviews Goodluck ahead of their K-Day performance.

New competitions this week see you stand the chance to win two tickets to Luck of the Irish at Emperors Palace, and two tickets to next Sunday's Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert featuring the Cape Town Folk 'n Acoustic Music Festival!

Happy weekend!
