#RIPMadiba

It was with great sadness we heard the news that Madiba had passed away last week. Now more than ever we should remember and follow his values of tolerance, understanding and forgiveness as well as celebrate his life and legacy.

And what better way to celebrate Mandela's life than with laughter... Currently there is a host of proudly South African comedians doing the rounds. Marc Lottering's Comedy Roadshow, which took place at Grand West this past Saturday, dedicated their show to our former president and asked the entire audience to stand and sing the national anthem, a moving moment indeed. Nik Rabinowitz returns to the Baxter Theatre with over a year of material to get off his chest in his new show, Stand Up.

Our competitions this week see you stand the chance to win tickets to this Sunday's Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert featuring Mango Groove, and two tickets to Haezer's EP launch at The Sideshow in Cape Town on 18 December, as well as tickets to Arcape Empire's New Year's Bash!

RIP Madiba, you'll be missed!
