I am currently unemployed because I recently returned from South Africa where I was attempting to Emigrate however up until 27th July 2011 I was Employed as Tier 1 Technical Support Engineer with Barracuda Networks Inc located in their UK office at Basingstoke, Hampshire. I was providing support to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) for the Spam & Antivirus Firewall as well as their Message Archiver.
During my time there I managed to fit in very quickly & mould my previous skill set to suit this role as I came from a Technical support role & as 90% of Barracuda Networks products are Linux based I felt I could vastly increase my Linux knowledge.
Previous to the above position I had held a 5 year position as 1st & 2nd line Customer Support Technician within Link Connect Services Ltd who are a local Internet Service Provider for business' within farnham/Surrey UK. This network was a mixture of Linux & Windows servers/workstations/routers with Cisco & Zyxel Routers.
