Show profile Hide profileJachin David Williams holds a Master's degree in Sociology, Bachelor's degree in Mobility Science for the Disabled and a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Eye Health, involved in the planning and execution of all community eye care programs of the L V Prasad Eye Institute. A rehabilitation specialist approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Prior to his carrier at LVPEI he has served as a coordinator for Comprehensive Aid in Rehabilitation and Education for the Differently Abled Program in EVR Periyar District in Tamil Nadu supported by Christoffel Blinden Mission, Germany.
Adjunct Lecturer for the Masters in Community Eye Health, Faculty of Science, University of New South Wales, Australia and a faculty for Diploma in Community Eye Health course and Community Optometry - course offered by Birla Institute of Institute of Science and Technology and LVPEI at Bausch & Lomb School of Optometry, Hyderabad.
He has developed training manuals, handbooks and other awareness materials. He has authored Handbook for Community Eye Health Workers and Handbook for 'Sight For Kids' School Screening Program and has publications of journals. And involved in epidemiological research programs as principal investigator for 4 studies conducted by LVPEI.
