KNP mourns loss of bird guide, Frank Mabasa

The Kruger National Park's management has expressed sadness at the passing of Frank Mabasa, an attendant at the Pafuri Picnic Site. Mabasa was known as the ‘bird guide' because of his knowledge of the birds in the area and for his great service that guests received from him.

Mabasa served 29 years at the organisation, starting out as a hut attendant in 1988 at the Skukaza Rest Camp.
