New structure at Avis after Duvenage's resignation
Keith Rankin, chief executive of Avis Rent a Car Southern Africa, announced the new Avis Southern Africa structure. This follows on the recent resignation announcement of Wayne Duvenage from his position as chief executive of Avis.
A management decision has been taken at Avis not to replace Duvenage, but to rather have the position absorbed by Rankin.
Rankin, who was also instrumental in appointing Duvenage in 2006, joined Avis in 1998 and has held various positions within the group before being appointed into the position of chief executive of Avis in 2004.
