Volvo's 'Spot the truck' is just the ticket
The Volvo Golf Champions, the European Tour's tournament of champions, is heading back to Durban next month. To celebrate, Volvo is running a competition not only offering daily prizes of tickets, but for one lucky winner, a unique gift signed by the 2014 Champion.
Each day from now until the event, two of Volvo's top-of-the-range FH trucks will be touring the Durban area promoting the event. Decorated in full Volvo Golf Champions regalia, they will be highly visible over the coming weeks as they visit all parts of the region, including the host venue for the tournament, the Durban Country Club. The competition is sure to appeal not just to motorists and residents living near the coast, but also those further inland as the trucks will be covering a great deal of ground.
Every day, two lucky winners will be drawn from the hat, each of whom will win a pair of tickets to the Volvo Golf Champions. And at the end of the competition, the person whose picture receives the most votes from those who have seen it will be rewarded with a special prize signed by one of the stars of the European Tour.
'Spot The Truck'
To win one of these great prizes, all you need to do is take a photo of the truck, preferably in an attractive, unusual, or artistic location, and go to www.volvoingolf.com. There - click on "Spot The Truck" and enter the competition.
The highly visible Volvo trucks will travel as far south as Port Shepstone, passing several well-known golfing hot spots, before turning round and heading back up the coast. To the north they will visit areas such as Durban North and Umhlanga en route to Ballito. In addition, they will be heading well inland, passing Westville, Pinetown and Hillcrest, all the way to Pietermaritzburg
