Pain at the petrol pumps for September

According to reports, the petrol price, for September, will increase by:

• 11.4 cents for Petrol 95 ULP;
  
• 26.6 cents for Diesel 0.05%;
  
• 26 cents for Diesel 0.005%; and
  
• 23 cents for Paraffin

The main reason for the increases is the weakening of the Rand against the US Dollar on average during the period under review.

Petrol prices in South Africa have now increased for seven out of eight months in 2019.
