In the African context there are nuances which marketers seem to be overlooking and do often miss the opportunities with, especially within this ‘millennial’ sector. We’re so used to boxing in communities in terms of demographics, as marketers, which means we end up communicating in such a way that we miss the real values which resonate with these communities.
