[Ruth Cooper] I can't say I particularly enjoyed Israeli playwright Motti Lerner's production; Hard Love currently playing at the NewSpace Theatre. I can blame this somewhat on the weather on Wednesday night as it felt something like 30 degrees in the cosy and sold out NewSpace Theatre, not the most ideal conditions for watching quite a heavy play about love, loss and religion. And it seems like I wasn't the only one suffering as I spotted Peter Dirk Uys sitting a few rows in front of us through the first act but his chair was suspiciously empty in the second.
