GNT subcontracts its fleet maintenance to Scania
Great North Transport (GNT) services transports 58 million passengers every year, using 297 routes, from 11 depots across South Africa, and clocking a total of 66 million kilometres. According to a Marketwire.comreport, Philippe Buyst, GNT's acting chief executive officer, the company makes sure that its fleet of 541 buses is not older then 10 years. Minimal changes to October's South African PMI
Business Week quotes Bloomberg's report that, according to a statement from Kagiso Tiso Holdings, South Africa's seasonally adjusted purchasing managers' index (PMI) was little changed in October, staying close to 50 for a second month, as expansion in manufacturing remained weak.
