Mother City-loving

If you've lived or live in Cape Town you'll probably agree that it really is one of the best cities in the world; beauty, culture, creativity, vibrancy, variety - we've got it all. And our visitors are in agreement - both the British newspaper The Guardian and the US' The New York Times have declared the Mother City as the top holiday destination for 2014! With such a wide variety of activity options year round we couldn't agree more! Be you a tourist or a local, here are ten destinations to add to your Cape Town to go list, including a few hidden gems and some must-do's.

In music news, late Jan / early Feb sees both the psychedelic festival that is Origin and the friendly fest that is Up the Creek take place in the Western Cape, while Axecess Jozi, featuring Big Sean, touches down in Gauteng! Mid-February welcomes both the Loved Up Festival, happening in Cape Town and Joburg for V-Day, and the second Breathe Sunshine African Music Conference at Cape Town City Hall.

Tickets to both the Axess Jozi event and this Sunday's Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert featuring Jimmy Nevis are up for grabs this week!
