GrandWest was transformed into a Paradise City of classic rock this past weekend. Nine legendary Rock Gods in the form of super band Kings of Chaos invaded and conquered Cape Town and left no prisoners in their aural onslaught. Joburgers are in for a treat as Sun City will be transformed into the Paradise Rock City this coming weekend.
In other news of the musical variety, R Kelly is set for an SA tour in March 2014 and, just confirmed this morning, so is The Dave Matthews this November / December.

Daniel Dercksen reviews the much anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness, as well as a few of the films currently showing on the World Cinema Fest circuit, and gives his thoughts on the deliciously devious Kalk Bay Theatre play, Same Time Next Year. In other theatre news, Eugene Yiga is moved by tragic play Skierlik, and Eddie Izzard is set to tour Cape Town and Joburg later this month.
