Media to cover Malema trial

First they couldn't, now they can - the media that is... can cover Malema's trial. However, you will need to wait for that to occur, because, according to eNCA, Malema's day in court has been set down for about a year from now... from 30 September to 31 October 2014.

Good news for the recruitment industry is the announcement of the Times Media Recruitment Awards winners. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, 16 November 2013, at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton honouring SA's top recruitment professionals.

Still on the awards theme, SA's sports stars glittered at the 2013 South African Sports Awards on Sunday evening. And the winner? No, not human torpedo Chad Le Clos, cricketer Hashim Amla, wheelchair tennis player Lucas Sithole or athlete Mapaseka Makhanya, but Itumeleng Khune, Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana captain.

Finally, since we hold our environment and its resources in trust for future generations, it makes sense to make sure those who come after us can enjoy what SA's environment has to offer. But it costs money... a lot of money. That's why Eden to Addo needs financial support. The Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative has received a promise of R8m in government funding, if the project itself raises R500,000 before the end of 2013.

Out with those wallets!
