| No Comment | I'm writing my weekly Editor's Column from the PR and Corporate Communications Conference hosted by Marcus Evans in Johannesburg today. We're trying to be even more interactive and have put up a Forum on the PR industry for comment as a result of issues that have come up on the first day. We would appreciate readers' input in order to report back to the conference over the next couple of days: PR in South Africa has a credibility issue, but PR is an important part of any integrated marketing strategy. However, the question has to be asked - should public relations professionals be brand custodians? Our readers blogs on Bizcommunity.com are widely read and reported on due to the (mostly) high level of informed comment and high profile feedback. They have become a must read, daily, in our industry.
Have a good one! Louise Marsland, Editor, editor@bizcommunity.com
