McLaren MP4 breaks all the records, but the Aston Martin Virage will win your heart!

Daytona Group is having a road show of their Best of British brands in South Africa, and I was at the One & Only to drive the Aston Martin Virage and the McLaren MP4-12C. These are supercars that will make you stop and look whenever you see one, but getting to drive both of these beauties was a dream come true and I realise that these are truly brands of distinction.

I had a chat to Justin Davaris, CEO of Daytona Group, about the road show, we also asked Bryan Habana how he felt once he took the McLaren for a spin!

We were quite subdued and serious when we had a walk around the cars, but the minute I stepped into them the adrenalin started pumping at a serious rate! Getting into the McLaren I just got sucked up by the bucket seats and holding onto the steering wheel felt as though I was on the grid of a F1 race.

Starting the 600hp engine will stay with me for a long time! The McLaren is just in a class of its own and I think Bryan Habana says it all in this clip!

The Aston Martin, however, was the car that stole my heart! Having to drive the Virage, a 6 litre V12, 490hp supercar was that moment that got me thinking that no matter what its cost, I want it! It is just so stylish, elegant and has enough muscle to stand its own against most other supercars!

This car will make you look good every time you pull it out of your garage, but the best part of all is how it will make you feel when you drive it!
