Poachers 0 - Rangers 4

It's difficult to have much sympathy for rhino poachers. No, actually, make that 'it's difficult to have any sympathy for rhino poachers' who suffer from lead poisoning. So it has been a bad ending for 2013 for four suspected poachers who were fatally wounded in KNP, and a slightly less unpleasant end to the year for a further 17 suspected poachers who were arrested in the park.

On a much happier note, one of South Africa's best in legal circles, former Chief Justice Pius Nkonzo Langa has been awarded a posthumous honorary Doctorate of Laws.

The Wits University's Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management conferred the honourary doctorate on Langa for his unselfish, inspirational and steadfast service to his country and his profession. Hear, hear! It's just a pity that the honour was not conferred during the judge's lifetime.

Do you like online gaming? If so, here are some tips to help you fight off unwanted villains/cyber crooks - and we mean the real villains out there... the cyber criminals acting with the intent to cause real harm to you - so read, learn, and stay safe.

Finally... Laduuuuummmmmaaaaaa! Tickets for the 3rd Orange African Nations Championship (CHAN 2014) go on sale on 29 November 2013, and will cost from R40 up to a maximum of R200. The tournament kicks off on 11 January 2014, with the final to be played on 1 February. Matches will be played in Cape Town, Mangaung and Polokwane - so don't miss it!
