General entertainment channel Star TV, which broadcasts in English and Swahili from Tanzania, has selected JumpTV as its exclusive Internet broadcast partner for the online distribution of its content. For a monthly subscription of US$9.95, JumpTV subscribers all over the world can watch Star TV's African movies and breakout shows, including daily news show 'Jarida Maridhawa', music program 'Roving DJ' and 'Tegemeo langu', a show focused on helping viewers escape from the bondage of poverty.
