Cape Flats thriller Four Corners is big winner at 2015 SAFTAs

The climax of the night at the 2015 SAFTA Coming of Age Golden Horn Awards was the announcement of the Best Feature Film winner. And the big winner for the night was the coming-of-age thriller, Four Corners, which walked off with six awards from 13 nominations, including the coveted Golden Horn Best Feature Film and the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor Awards.

The award-winning coming-of-age thriller, Four Corners, has made history by securing the youngest ever SAFTA Best Actor nomination for first-time actor, Jezzriel Skei. The Jo'burg school-goer, who performed the role at age 13, has been commended for his landmark lead performance as Ricardo, the talented chess whizz kid living in jeopardy of gangs controlling the streets he lives in on the Cape Flats.
