New flight to Antananarivo

Effective 1 October 2007, South Africa's Airlink airline will be introducing an additional Monday flight from Johannesburg to Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The airline currently operates their flight schedule on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using the 89-seater, BAE146-200 aircraft. The introduction of the additional service is in response to traveller demand as the Monday flight will provide business travellers from both South Africa and Madagascar with a wider choice of departure days as well as accommodating the honeymoon market. Leisure travellers and shoppers living in Madagascar can also now enjoy a long weekend in South Africa, departing on the airline's Friday flight and returning Mondays.

Airlink operates this route in code share with Air Madagascar.
