Lenovo enters Nigerian smartphone market
The Lenovo Group will be entering the West African market with seven smartphone models, and, according to the report on Ventures Africa, the Chinese firm selected Nigeria as its preferred destination because it isn't required to partner with local telecommunications companies in order to sell its phones.

It is also reportedly positive that customers will accept its phone brands in the same way they did its PCs, which it says have a 14% market share in the Nigerian market.
