Mobile marketing is forcing companies and their advertising agencies to create different advertising campaigns that are relevant to their various audiences, claimed Angus Robinson, CEO of Brandsh, an agency that specialises in mobile and social media, yesterday, Tuesday 30 June 2009. 
Brandscape Marketing was briefed by SAIL to focus on “Vodacom's Player 23, You, the Fan” campaign by engaging fans at selected games with free rich media content downloaded to mobile phones via promoter-worn Hypertag Bluetooth units. 
MTN issued a statement yesterday, Thursday, 25 June 2009, in response to the controversy and media reports surrounding the promotion it is running to mark its 15th anniversary.
