SABC: Hlaudi weathers the storm...

4 Mar 2013 06:55Submit a commentBizLike
NEWSWATCH: According to The New Age, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, who was acting COO of the SABC, and then wasn't, is now again back in the position... So there's the SABC again, making the news instead of reporting it. And on a quieter note, there's a new editor for Afrikaans Sunday newspaper Rapport, reports IOL.
For more:
  • The New Age: SABC boss back at helm... Apparently SABC chairperson Dr Ben Ngubane has confirmed that Motsoeneng has been reinstated with immediate effect.

That appears, quite coincidentally, of course, to have coincided with the resignation (again according to The New Age) of head of radio news, Mike Siluma - the very man who only last week was announced as Motsoeneng's replacement.
  • IOL: Rapport gets new editor... Waldimar Pelser, currently a senior deputy editor at the weekly, will take up his new position on 1 June.
