After a three-year break to pursue a law career, Zunckel realised radio was in his blood and he returned to Tuks FM where, within a year, he was appointed as programme manager and later took on the role of station manager.
He has worked in the retail radio space, as a broadcast lecturer and as breakfast show presenter on Radio 2000. In 2008, he took over the role of programme manager at OFM where he played an integral role in growing audience and redefining the on-air product.
