As part of vida e caffé's ongoing expansion into the local coffee market, an alliance has been created with publishers 8 Ink Media and Tagon Media to sell in-store media for the cult coffee company. The partnership includes loyalty cards, take-away coffee sleeves, stirrers, serviettes, tags, vida-fi (free in-store wi-fi), as well as a number of new initiatives.
vida e caffé marketing director Shaun Bond says, “With vida taking on a national brand footprint - 32 stores countrywide - and a small international brand footprint (hopefully opening soon in London), we are constantly looking at innovative ways to offer media space without cluttering our stores. The latest MINI sleeve campaign is a prime example of how we can achieve this. The exclusive partnership with 8 Ink and Tagon can only strengthen this offering, and vida is really keen to see the progress.”
According to Aaron van Schaik, publisher of 8 Ink Media's custom division, “[t]he partnership is in line with our ongoing strategy of finding and developing innovative media solutions. vida e Media will fall under our New Business Division, established only two months ago, which concentrates on custom and contract publishing, special projects and alternative/ innovative media.”
Andrew Franks, Tagon MD adds: “Advertisers are continually searching for new ways to speak with their markets, ways that cut through the clutter and deliver powerful, focused, cost-effective messages, and this relationship makes this possible.”
vida e Media will be hosting advertising and marketing partners at vide e caffé stores around the country in six weeks to mark this partnership.
