    Supporting act competition

On the local scene, In their continued effort to support South African musicians Canoc Productions is launching the Lil Wayne supporting act competition. This competition is twofold, by giving concert-goers the opportunity to design their own concert experience while at the same time creating an opportunity for local musicians, DJs, dancers and bands to perform at one of the Lil Wayne concerts. The competition is split onto two main categories, one for established artists and the other for up-and-coming artists. In each of these categories there will be an opportunity for one DJ, a group of dancers plus a soloist, band or group to be selected.

    Fans will vote

To stand a chance of being selected to perform at these concerts, artists need to create profiles on www.listenwithcare.co.za, upload their content - video, songs and pictures - and share it with their fans using social networks. Fans would need to view artist profiles on the site and vote for who they want to see perform at the concert. Each fan is entitled to one vote per artist.
