Deadline looms for Assegai entries
The closing date for entries to this year's Direct Marketing Association Assegai Awards, sponsored by the South African Post Office, is Friday 12 October 2007 and late entries will not be considered. Agencies, corporates, educational institutions and SMEs may submit entries on www.dmasa.org, which also contains all the required entry forms and information. “We are aiming to attract over 200 entries this year and have also invited 56 DMAs across the world to participate, giving the awards a global flavor,” says Brian Mdluli, CEO of the DMA. “Direct marketers have had to find new innovative means of communicating directly with their consumers without breaching the confines of legislation around the Protection of Private Information Act and the Consumer Protection Bill, which have been hot topics of debate for some months now.”
