This week will see a hive of activity at Cavendish Square as top local green artists work alongside local school children to create a variety of art installations at Cavendish Square. The Cavendish Square LIFTED project in association with VISI coincides with the escalator upgrade that is taking place within the centre until mid May 2012.
The centre has partnered with green design and lifestyle product resource, Green Elephant Collective to curate the Cavendish Square LIFTED project; working with local design talents to create an environment within the centre that will bring a smile to shoppers' faces, whilst also providing them direction to the various alternative entrances to the centre.
On Monday learners from Rondebosch Boys Prep School and Springfield Convent working side by side to create some incredible works of art, and yesterday saw Bishops and Rustenberg's learners working on their masterpieces.
Look out for budding young artists in the centre this week from top local schools:
Today: Reddam House and Grove Primary Tomorrow: SACS and Herschel
To show their appreciation for their loyal customers' continued support, Cavendish Square has also implemented a parking promotion of maximum R10 parking per day during the escalator upgrade project.
