Brewster housewarming starring Caprice
Award-winning SA publicist Marcus Brewster dished up a sexy-themed sundowners party as a housewarming at his glamourous Cape Town home. The occasion also served to welcome client Caprice, the UK lingerie phenom and cover girl, to the Mother City. Guests included Monaco Honorary Consul Francis Kasasa and his wife Barbara, Colin Moss, Michelle McLean, Nicky Greenwall, and other bold-faced names.
Some guests settled into the screening room to watch Liz Taylor in Cleopatra whilst others were entertained by Engel & Volkers CEO Patrick O' Shea at the baby grand.
Giggling Gourmet, Jenny Morris, provided a suitably lascivious buffet spread that ranged from deep fried angel-hair spaghetti-wrapped prawns to gazpacho served in shot glasses. Her newest treat, debuting that evening, was
trompe l'oeil chocolate dipped gingerbread spoons filled with fruit.
So delighted was Caprice with her South African reception that she has bought a
pied-a-terre in the country. Her By Caprice Lingerie line is available in Edgars stores nationwide.
