Information Minister: media belongs to all Egyptians
Information Minister Salah Abdul-Maqsoud on Saturday, 8 September 2012, underlined that Egyptian media is belonged to all citizens from different political, intellectual, social and partisan affiliations.
In his first meeting with representatives of 39 parties and political movements at the headquarters of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU), Abdul-Maqsoud said that the sponsorship era on mass media is over and it will not be allowed at all.
All media means enjoy full freedom in what they publish or transmit provided that they are committed to social responsibility, he said.
