Secure a spot in the awards

If you are 28 years old or younger and working in an agency, you need to register now. Not only will a winning entry secure you a spot at one of the world's most exciting and prestigious advertising awards, your work will feature on the big screen at Ster-Kinekor theatres across the country.

While the brief will only be made available to all entrants on the 11th, Cinemark has hinted that the brief will centre heavily on a topical issue.

Cannes Lions has more than 90 representatives from the various countries around the world. What is evident in these regions is that it is the Young Lions competitors or their respective ad agencies fund the trip to Cannes.

Register now

In South Africa, Cinemark has assumed that sole responsibility. However, it is uncertain as to how much longer the media sales company will be able to continue to do so. Hence, it is imperative that young creatives take full advantage of this privilege now.

The prize include: flights, accommodation and a full weeks registration at the advertising awards festival. Register now on www.cinemark.co.za/cannes-lions. For the latest updates on Cannes Lions local news and the Young Lions competition follow on Twitter @Cinemarksk.
