NEWSWATCH: Dating in Iceland can be a little risky - you could be involved in a bit of incest without knowing it - until now, reports News.com.au; and closer to home, Dina Pule is concerned about the delay in finalising digital TV access control.

Iceland has a small population and many Icelanders come from the same family tree, which means dating and its hoped-for outcome can be a little risky... You could find yourself hopping into bed with cousin Katrin, or getting all steamed up with Ketill.
So a trio of Icelandic engineers have come up with a cunning Android app that allows you to bump phones before you bump bones. You can check beforehand so that should the relationship develop, you won't unknowingly be doing the bad thing with a kissing cousin, active aunt or, for that matter, an unflagging uncle.

As if finding your soul mate weren't already complicated.
