Online architecture, construction title launches

Alive2green is a new electronic architecture and construction publication launching today, Thursday 29 November 2007, that seeks to educate, inform and assist readers about the design and construction of sustainable buildings and living spaces. It is compiled by Kerry Haggard, former editor of SA Home Owner and Home Paige, together with a team of journalists with experience in both the home and green environments.

Alive2green will be distributed to more than 20 000 subscribers, 90% of whom own their own home or are thinking of buying a home in the near future as well as key decision makers and specifiers in the architecture and construction industries.

The objective is to featured homes, projects, services, product profiles and company listings, combined with a practical and user-friendly platform that can be trusted by the reader and broader industry.

The publishers have more than a decade of experience publishing in the construction, architectural and lifestyle arenas with magazines which include SA Home Owner, Top Huis and Avocado, as well as for official bodies such as the South African Institute of Architecture. They are also publishers for the Commonwealth Institute of Architects and the Construction Industry Development Board.
