NEWSWATCH: channel24, quoting City Press, reports that many of the cast of Generations are not at all happy with their new contracts.

channel24: Popular soapie's actors up in arms over new contracts... Acting is a tough career choice, so when you get a role in just about any show, you hang on to it for as long as you can. No wonder then that many of the cast of Generations are less than thrilled that their contracts not only see them not getting increases, but also they will be valid for one year instead of three.
What makes it worse is that executive producer Mfundi Vundla is reported to have said that if the dispute cannot be resolved then he might write the affected actors out of the series.
It's enough to make Shakespeare spin in his grave.
